On seeing Sami coming with her belongings Guddu shouted,” Why you came here? Stay at your father’s house, I have no work, no money to feed you”. Sami was quite. She took all the pains given by Guddu and her family and not to pour out what had happened to her. The dignity, self-respect and pride which are consider as real jewels for any women. But this jewel of Sami was robbed by the man who was older than her father. Sami could move to somewhere and commit suicide because she had no reason to survive. But being trained as a N.C.C cadet she couldn’t be a loser also she came to know about the extra marital affair of Guddu through her neighbour. 

Along with this, Sami had already tried to take her life before marriage. Once she drank rat poison when she had a fight with Chaman. Gucchan immediately took her into hospital and she was saved. But her father had to face more trouble than Sami. A Police cop thought that she tried to commit suicide due to her family pressure and hence he came regularly to their house and terrified Gucchan. Sami had a closed bond with her father. On seeing that he fell into trouble because of her, she decided not to take that step further at any condition.

So Sami decided to set back her destructive marriage life she stay with Guddu whether in factory. In the factory where Guddu works as a tailor, all the day she sat upon a stool. When night came she aside the sewing machines prepared some space for herself and Guddu to sleep. Food was provided from the sister of factory owner. Though it was the remaining of her children, but it was sufficient to feed them.

After some time they shifted to a very small room on rent. When Sami’s mother came to know about her living condition she couldn’t stop her tears, she insisted Sami to come back but she denied. In between Sami got her first job in Delhi, in a transport company. There her boss, ‘Habib’ was very kind to her. Also she arranged job for Guddu in the same company. There through his colleagues, Guddu got to know about the affair between Habib and Jyoti. Jyoti work along with Sami in the same office.
Everyone talked about relations between Habib and his Female staff. On the same matter Guddu quarrelled with a co-worker and got fired from the company, since his wife too was among the same. Apart from that the living conditions of Guddu and Sami was better than earlier.

In between Sami got pregnant, she left that job. And went to her father’s house after a very long time. Soon her delivery time arrived, A ‘Dai’ was called for home delivery. But Sami’s condition were become critical, everyone began to pray for her. After a moment she gave birth to a very beautiful girl child. But she was not responding properly. Raju(son of bacchan) had taken the baby to Moradabad’s private hospital but on the way she died. This news brought another grief to Sami. After four years of her marriage she got her first child but that too was died. She wept a lot, went into depression due to this her eyesight became weak. Sami again went to Delhi. All the time she locked up her room, her condition was again became poor. But After a year she again got a hope of happiness to become a mother. But this time she didn’t want any child. According to her how she could born a baby in the grim conditions of survival. Where she couldn’t arrange basic needs for herself, how she could do so for the baby?

That’s why she went to a ‘Ved’ to abort the womb. ‘Ved’ was a very old man after hearing the cause of her abortion he said,”Beti har baccha apne naseeb ka khud lata hai, aur phir kya patah jise tum khatm karna chahti ho who aage chalke Nehru ki tarah bane?”

Then Sami decided to give birth the baby she was again charged to face the harsh society again but this time for her child.On December 25 she gave birth to a male child named ‘Yakku’. He was his last hope to survive. According to her, she couldn’t become a good daughter, a good sister, a good wife, But this time she want to be a good mother. She want to take away her son from the grim conditions as soon as possible.After the birth of Yakku Sami got infected by T.B.

It happened when she moved to her father’s house, with the newly born baby. The chilled breezes of December were able to freeze the water dripping from the tree- leaves of Rampur.  Hence she was infected for almost one to two months, that time she realised how caring her mother was towards her. All the time Sami laid upon the bed and Sami’s mother taken care of her. And hence due to her love and care, Sami again became fine.

Then Sami returned back to Delhi with Yakku, but there the situation became poorer than earlier. Sami was unemployed at that time and Guddu was all time unemployed and moody.
